The site is designed for keyboard navigation, readable text, visible focus, and use with assistive technology. It aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Automated checks do not establish full conformance.
Reading and navigation
Use the skip link to go directly to the main content. The Explore menu includes the site’s secondary sections. Browser zoom and text enlargement remain available.
Display preferences
The site follows your light or dark preference until you choose a reading theme. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. There is no automatic audio or flashing content.
Archive material
Public images require alternative text, a caption, and context. Transcriptions can accompany documents. These descriptions must be reviewed with the record.
Reporting a barrier
A direct contact channel has not been published yet. When one is available, this page will include a way to report an accessibility problem.
